For 3 years now, I've always wanted to be a part of The Journalese, UST Journalism Society's publication and now I am happy that I am a part of it. :) I am excited :D I am also proud that my friends: Lian, Nachi, and Celest got in also. :)
Funny how I got the news awhile ago. I was stuck at my dad's office all day and was really bored so I ended up sleeping. Suddenly, I woke up, coughing (nabulunan ata) and when I looked at my fone, I noticed that I have several messages. This is when the coughing stopped. I read the text saying "Congratulations... (something else goes here)" I thought I was dreaming. :) My friends and I have been waiting for this. :) Suddenly, everything felt real and then I realized that I was not dreaming :) I immediately told my mom and dad about it. They finally realized that there's something about Journalism now. HAHA :))
I promise to work my ass off :) Especially now that, He is a part of this. :D Just guess who I am talking about ;)

I've been listening to this Song, The Man Who Can't Be Moved by The Script for hours now. I don't know, I have this thing of listening to my song of the moment for hours until I get tired of it and listen to it in my iPod afterwards, on repeat. The last song I listened to over and over was Closer by Ne- yo because it was the day after I hung- out the entire day with Tres and he sang it in the car and I can't forget how sexy it sounded when he was singing it. Haha
Things aren't going smoothly. Yesterday, after the last exam for Prelims, I sat at one of the pavs infront of AB and thought of things that have been happening. Although my friends were around me and that I talk to them at the same time, I felt like my mind was floating somewhere and that there's one place I needed to be in. It happens often, me being bothered by unknown. I don't know. Probably because of the weather? Or there are some things that I left somewhere and I should get back to them?
I miss him. For days now, I haven't had a decent talk with him. I miss ranting about random things to him and he would kiss me afterwards, tellling me it's okay. I miss asking how his day was and sms lambings. I miss surprise mid- morning text, which gets me through an awful day. I miss hearing him say I love you randomly. I miss looking him in the eye, those brown pair that I want our future kids to have. I miss smelling him, although he doesn't smell anything grand, only his soap or after- shave. I miss him. Terribly.

This is the first Sunday of my Junior year when I am not bothered by anything that has to be done or submitted tomorrow, and probably on the next week also since it was announced that the two consecutive Mondays are holidays. I will miss my Feature Writing class.

I'm not psyched about Psych tomorrow. Imagine a test for 1 and a half hour, time pressured, electronic, and no back tracking. Plus, you have to do computation. And then I remember, I must memorize formula for tomorrow's test. Then again, if I get pressured by the time, I might do the laser- C (or a, b) method. :))
I look so harassed now. Due to the lack of sleep and stress from the papers, reports, and the madafacking memorization of the Oraciones (which were, by the way, not included in the Spanish Prelims. Sheesh) My eye bags literally, quoting my boyfriend who share the same problems, turned from pouch to Samsonite. :)) I hate that pimples, which were in zero- visibilty few months back, suddenly popped, and made surprise visit. Thanks ha. My hair! yes! My hair, after almost two months of raving how beautiful it turned out suddenly looked stressed and fugly. I am raring to have a haircut probably on Friday (helloooo Benchfix!!!) because I don't like it when I tie hair.
Weather can't be this so fuckingly hot. My skin's starting to get irritated again like big time.

I was watching the launch of the new ABC- 5, TV-5 awhile ago. They actually have pretty promising shows like this one that I'll wait for, Philippines' Scariest Challenge. I don't know, finally something scary to watch again. I'm such a sucker for "real TV" scare so I will watch out for this one. There's MysMatch (Mystery Match), a dating game with, mystery searcher HAHA :)) Not that I'm looking forward to watching it, but I might see an episode and I'll see where I'll go from there.
I was actually wating for their Magazine- Talkshow, but it must have passed when I changed channels in between. They should have something fresh and up beat, because I am tired of watching recycled ideas in shows like that.
What caught my attention was their TV adaptation of one of my favorite Summit Books, Have Baby, Will Date. I am not sure whether they'll follow the same story, characters, etc. but since they said that it is based on Andrea Pasion's novelette, then I have to really wait for that. The thing is though, it will be shown on Tuesdays at 7p.m. Now, that's impossible since my class on Tuesdays end at 7. The choice of the lead actress (who'll play Simone's mom!) is so- so, Valerie Concepcion. This made me a bit apprehensive. But we'll see.
The most talked about ala- Gossip Girl show, Lipgloss will also be in TV- 5. I don't want to say anything. People have already said a lot of things about this show. If you want to watch it though, it's Saturdays at 5 p.m.
Well let's see, most of TV- 5's talents are from ABS- CBN. Merger?
But I hope they'll be able to put up with the competition, although that's impossible to see. If they stick to the alternative shows, that are worthy to be checked out, well, why not, right?
One thing's for sure. I'll watch out for the Unitel Pictures' movies: Crying Ladies, La Visa Loca, and the one starring Maricel Soriano... the title simply slipped my mind.

I had my first taste of being a celebrity today. :)
3CA1's group 4 (correct me if I am wrong in any of these details) invited me to guest in their show for their class. The topic was about blogging. I had fun with watching them do all the work while I sit, waiting for my cue.
I had the taste of being made up, being in front of the camera, and talk about something I am passionate about.
Funny how 2 events made me realize that I should study how to put my own make- up and that I should upgrade my make- essentials from cheek tint to several other make- ups such as lipstick and foundation. Cheek tints would probably do much if you think about everyday, but when events call, maybe I need a make- up set or something and practice putting on colors in my face.
My years of reading a teen's magazine did not do much. Haha... :)

OO NA! LOSER. I just watched The Dark Knight today with Lian and it's soooo fucking awesome! Good thing I was not lured by John Lloyd to watch his movie first because:
1. I have to write a review about The Dark Knight 2. What kind of Batman fan am I if I won't get to see this flick?
I was literally on the edge of my seat all throughout the movie- due to slouching and the exciting scenes. AWESOME.
And the Php 161 is worth it sobra and Lian and I braving the heavy rains just to watch it is super okay lang!!!

But my only problem with the film is that it got me confused. You see, I've watched ALL the Batman movies (I'm such a fan) and hearing that Joker and Two- Faced will appear in this movie, it reminded me of Batman, (the one starring Micheal Keaton in which they both appeared in) and Batman Forever (this one with Val Kilmer and only has Two- Faced starring Tommy Lee Jones). I thought that the Batman movies are connected to each other so I was surprised when Two- Faced died. Yun pala, as my brother explained, the entire series started with the previous installment, Batman Begins. So all the movies, except for the last two, are not connected. And this is where my confusion ended. Haha :))
I love Project Runway Philippines. I am developing a huge girl crush on Teresa Herrera. The show's not trying hard to be pasosyal and fashown because it has attitude and spunk on its own. Although my brother commented that the show has a lighting problem, maybe we can pass this up since the show is good as itself. The designers! They are okay and I really like those gay ones a lot. I am looking forward to all the episodes. Maybe Solar entertainment learned their lesson from Philippines' Next Top Model. :)
I got to buy Nylon Magazine at Booksale today. :) Very cheap price because it's a back issue, but I was really happy to have my favorite mag on hand. The only time I get to read this mag is when I visit their site (which I also highly recommend). I've always wanted a local magazine somewhat similar to this and sadly, I haven't found any. So I have to wait for Nylon back issues just to read it since I cannot buy it on the month it's published because it's sooo expensive. I am enjoying every page. :)
AND! I AM GETTING FAT. :D I am happy about it. :)

No matter how I try to find the "good light" in these pictures I saw, wala eh. It looks really cheap. I don't know. It sucks. You know, you can look sexy without wearing minis. It's so men's magazine material and to think you are emphasizing your abilites. You are known for your talent, not for your body- or lack there of.
But, it's just me. Some people might find it sexy like it can instantly turn them on, erect something or wet there, but if you look at it, there's no art in it.
It's just an opinion. I am not sexy, neither the BEST photographer ever.

Funny how I am more worried about how I will look on Sunday than how my interview will turn out. This is a serious call for fashionistas.
I remember reading an article about meeting the parents in Seventeen. When a girl meets her future in- laws, she must wear something really pretty, which brings to mind, AHA dresses. Nice. It doesn't actually apply to me because I don't wear dresses and the fact that I'll be coming all the way from a meeting that day. This is insane.
So time to consult LookBook, the next best thing to styling. I am looking for something I can pull and really decent enough for lunch with the 'rents. So I went to Classic, Casual, and Feminine. Usually, I'll stop by Vintage and Retro sections, but I don't think I'd go on that since eccentricity won't be a big help to make you a super star daughter- in- law if your boyfriend comes from a, uh, THE FAMILY.
So yes, I am scared now. For about 2 hours already, just after boyfriend told me his family wants to meet me on Sunday and that his father got a bit upset that I was not able to meet him last week and the thought that he'll be saying something to them before I arrive which is like WTF IS THAT.
I hope I won't make a blunder or something.
My friend Jeric said I'd be able to get through it since I am a great person. Really? I wish Mr. and Mrs. Gorrez can sense that and I hope that it would be enough to win their hearts or something. It's really funny though. The family is insisting to see me by lunch time. Yes, INSISTING. I told Tres that I am not sure, but I'll super try to since I need him for an article (human interest).
